Hospitalization Update

Caroline's making progress~ slowly but surely. Her O2 is down to .50 L and she's still fever free. She's sleeping a lot, but I think she's just catching up. Her CXR showed a LLL pneumonia/atelectasis after all. The antibiotics are working. Caroline's chest wall deformity (scoliosis/kyphosis) does not allow her chest to move well enough ( if at all) to "cough it up." We're doing lots of CPT and breathing tx's. Baby steps...........another 2-3 days inpatient per the Pulm. tonight. SP

Hi Caroline ... it is "Lo-Lo"
I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling badly and that you have to be in the hospital. You keep up all the good work toward getting better and you will be home before you know it! I know that is where you would rather be. Hope you are getting lots of good rest and start feeling all better very soon!!
