Caroline made Chorus! Hallelujah!

It's hard to believe this school year's almost over. Tate wrapped up preschool on Thursday and has moved to Kran's for the week! (So he thinks!!) Caroline has enjoyed the third grade. It has been her most challenging year thus far, not only academically, but emotionally. It's hard being a girl--enough said! There are a lot of end-of-the-year activities this week at school. She's excited about the talent show and her ST is hosting an icecream party on Tuesday! Yum! We're all looking forward to summer "break." It's not a break by a long shot, but it's less hectic, and I can't wait to spend time with them this summer!

I totally forgot Caroline's appt. with her Ortho. last week. Not sure how I did that--I had it written down and confirmed. Just a lot going on these last few weeks of school. Ok, my punishment is a work in appt. in Duluth. Not just Duluth-- but a drive to McDonough to pick Caroline up from VBS THEN drive to Duluth. God help me! Lesson learned.

Honor Chorus

Caroline's trying out for Chours this morning. She has practiced America and Pocket Full of Sunshine a hundred times! I'm so proud of her for trying! Good luck, Caroline!!

Waiting on a date...

I'm waiting to hear from Dr. Devito's office with a date for Caroline's expansion this summer. I don't know if I want it at the beginning or end of summer?? I was thinking the beginning because the pool's not really warm until June/July but with this flu scare I'm not sure I want her anywhere near a hospital. Need to plan our family vaca, etc. Oh, to be at their mercy. I am thankful we're not traveling to San Antonio. I'd be a nervous wreck flying out there w/ Caroline...flu or no flu.

Aren't the best weekends spent with friends and family? Trisha's kids were with us this weekend. It was action packed. Stormy won the Team Ball at his game on Saturday and Tate had a game today. He knocked one into center field. We said that one was for the ladies! C danced on Friday night. Her recital is in June. I think she's most excited about the dress but excited to perform, too. They fished all day w/ friends on Saturday and enjoyed mani's and pedi's last night. We hung out on Marietta Square today for Taste of Marietta. It was packed! The girls got their hair done while the boys bounced. We're winding down now and ready to start the week. Tomorrow is Caroline's last day of CRCT testing. Social Studies! Ugh~
