Caroline had a fantastic day and managed quite well on (plain)Tylenol. She amazes me! We were able to go to the concert on the square tonight with our friends and had a blast! Caroline danced and smiled and never once complained! She's my inspiration and my hero!

PostOp day 2

Caroline was discharged yesterday morning and rested well all day/night. She's up this morning and ready to roll! I've promised a night @ Glover Park if she takes it easy today. She and Tate are playing Michael Jackson videos and making crafts! I'm going to unpack and hopefully upload some NYC pictures! Thanks for checking in~

Surgery Update

Caroline had a successful expansion this morning. Her Ortho. was able to get 2 clicks on her hybrid and 1 click on the rib rod. That's huge and the most expansion she's ever gotten at one time. Caroline is resting comfortably, almost too comfortably, today. They decided to let her stay the night and hopefully "sleep off" some of the anesthesia. Not sure why she's so out of it. I'm thinking this summer's happenings finally caught up to her. She's not in any pain and her sats are good so we'll leave well enough alone for now. I'll update tomorrow after rounds!

Busy Summer

The kids are enjoying their summer vacation. They've gone to the aquarium in Chattanooga, the new Tellus Science Museum in Cartersville, a Braves game, and have spent more time in the pool than out! Definitely staying busy. They're looking forward to the big July 4 celebration at our neighborhood pool today. After that we'll head over to Kennestone's parking deck to watch some fireworks! Hope you have a happy and safe 4th! God Bless America!
